20 years’ experience of working in the care sector

Hearts at Home Care was founded in 2015 by Samantha and Emma, who bring over two decades of combined experience in the care sector to our organization. This extensive experience encompasses specialized care for individuals with Dementia, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, Cerebral Palsy, Learning Difficulties, various Mental Health issues, Huntington’s Disease, Stroke recovery, and Palliative Care needs.

Our care team receives comprehensive training, including specialized instruction from District Nurses and Tissue Viability Nurses, enabling us to address a wide range of complex medical needs, such as tracheostomy care, stoma management, catheter care, and pressure ulcer prevention and treatment.

Emma

Emma has a high level of experience in helping Service Users with budget planning, advocate service, prevention of returning to hospital, setting up packages of care, risk assessments and much more.

 

Emma felt a desire to branch out to become a director to provide the skills learnt over many years in this sector to others, Emma always thrives to put her Services Users needs at top priority and provide a safe, efficient, well-led, caring and responsive service. Emma is also the Registered Manager. Emma has her NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care.

Samantha

Samantha began her journey and passion for the Care Sector over 20 years ago, she has worked as Team Leaders for other large Domiciliary Care Companies, with extensive qualifications, knowledge, and expertise in many areas, which grew her understanding of the importance of opening a care company that was different to the rest.

 

Samantha has built solid working relationships with District Nurses, Doctors, Continuing Health Care professionals, Adult Social Services, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, families of whom she has cared for, the list goes on.

 

Samantha also specialises in Pet therapy. This can be used in a variety of ways, from meet-and-greet sessions to physical therapy, occupational therapy, and distraction therapy.
